Snow!

I met up with Ty at Denver Park.  He came through Denver for the weekend on his way back from Texas.  Always a pleasure to see out of state friends.
Red Bull showed up at the park, and I reluctantly took one of the 16 oz. cans. Too much! I only drank about a third.
We went to Vitamin Cottage as usual, and when we pulled into the parking lot, Ty very eagerly pointed out that there was snow on the ground.  Arizona must be weird.
Jesse partied too hard and lost his iPhone.  It must be hard reverting to a lesser form of technology, not to mention his fingers are too big for those buttons.
Lunch time.
Long ledge over a gap.  Kinda fun, but I wasn't super into it.
I called it an early day of skating to go home and work on my Virginia Woolf paper.  This thing has been really daunting, I can't wait to be done with it.

My Name's 50 Tyson

Denver Park Saturday early morning crew.  Getting here at 9 is the best.
After a couple of hours of skating, I went to Vitamin Cottage for lunch.  Vegan enchiladas and kombucha again.  The best.
The crew for the day at this point.
Then we went to this alley manual pad.  Joey got a good line here!
Roman and Ernie showed up too.
Valen nailed this wallride and Ernie did a really dangerous crooked grind. The drop on the other side of that bar is at least two stories. Too scary.
Then we skated a couple blocks down to another spot.
Flatbars and a barrier.
Ernie getting another clip.
Third spot of the day.  I didn't get a photo of the spot but I did take a photo of Joey and Jesse watching this.  Youtube is the best.
Little Caesars.  Joey and I split a pizza and breadsticks.  Best date ever, thanks Joey!
Watched Kehoe and Ernie skate this spot for a bit, but it started to rain.
Debow got his though.
Then Sweet Action!
Buncha dudes enjoying the best ice cream.

Two Spots

Met up with the dudes at this spot.  Ledge and a gap, nothing exciting.
But there was this cool parking block thing happening there.  Alex and Garret got down.
Great minds think/dress alike.
Police station ditch.  Fun and shady.  I can't believe we came here so much this summer when it was 95+
Garret, Joey, and Whitney watching stuff on the iPhone.
Garret's senior photo is now handled.  Your parents can pay me later.
Jesse showed up.  Really good to see him again.  He crushed this spot.
Then I saw this man walking his dog while lifting weights.  Pretty weird.

Another Day, Another Earth

I met up with Whitney at Denver Park, and special guest Jamie Craig was there.
He's been stacking clips lately...
I got hungry, so we cruised to Vitamin Cottage and I got my lunch on.  Delicious vegan fettucini and a kombucha.
Zach and Kehoe were there too.
Then we cruised to River Spot.  Segways!
Kehoe, Jesse, and Debow chilling.
Whitney tried a line for a bit...
Until he messed up and his board went in the water.  Bummer wave!
Debow and I filmed this guy though.
After that I picked Mason up to get ice cream and see a movie.  Sounds like a date!
Another Earth was awesome.  Here's the trailer. It's quite good, and really makes you think.  I recommend it, although Mason and I had different opinions about the ending (I liked it, he didn't).
After the movie, I went over to Patrick's house.
He cut my hair.

Half-Day

Joey, Shardy, and I went to City O' City for breakfast.  They serve the best chai.
After that we went to Greenwood Village Skatepark.  It is, and forever will be, terrible.
Jesse was there.
And Owen.
This was the only cool thing that happened there.  Backflip!
Smoke break outside Taco Bell on the way to Parker.
So fun!
David killed it.
Then my camera died.  Bummer wave.

Pre-Mormon Kombat

Started off my Thursday by skating Denver Park, solo style.
I got a call from David/Joey that everyone was going to this school to skate, so I met up.  Joey's friend Henri was with him.  He's a really rad guy.
After skating abandoned school, we met up with the Mystery team at Stapleton rail.
Mike got this sick line.
Joey's mind was blown.
Colfax Fence!  I'm glad I always have wood and a sign in my car.
The spot.
Spectator sport.
Jimmy, Joey, and I watched the new Transworld video on Dave's phone.  It's a good one!
Gas station stop where Sasha bought me a tea.  The woman behind the counter was bummed that I took this photo of her.
Mike took me to his place of business, D.P. Dough.
Awesome calzone.
After eating we went to Denver Park, where I ran into Patrick!
Steuben's for dinner.  Sam wore his table maker like an antenna.
David showed me a naked photo of Jimmy, which you're glad you can't see.
We watched Anthony Schultz's new part.  So good!
Ryan, David, and Anthony watched the Transworld video.  How would anyone enjoy dinner without smart phones!?!?
After dinner I headed over to Jesse's to crash.  Henri and I watched Bonus Round.
