Max Leaves Boulder

Max and I left school and met up with Ryan at Denver Park.

These dorks ditched high school to come "hard-style" in front of their new cars at Denver Park.  Oh, to be young again...

They also came up on a Vitamin Water sponsor.

We left Denver Park for Chipotle.

Tried to do some street skating... but there's still snow everywhere.

We checked out this spot on the way to another park.

Onto another park.

Then, ice cream!  I love Sweet Action Ice Cream.

Stake Is High

Three years since "In Color", the new Denver Shop video was finally going to premiere.  Anna and I went out for breakfast the morning of.

Then I cruised to Denver Park to meet up with the Kansas City homies and Ryan.

Ryan and I wanted to skate this rail, but there was a puddle up top and some snow on the landing.  That kind of stuff bothers me, but it didn't phase Ryan.  The day of the premier he already got a banger for the next video.  He's coming up!

The cop showed up after Ryan killed it.  It's hard to kick people out when they just do it first try.

We had a little pre-premiere at The Shop.  By the end of the day I had seen the video three times... over it.

The video!  Not going to lie, I was super nervous, but it seems like it was well received.  If not, we had a lot of good times making it, I know everyone worked super hard, and all our friends came to see it.  Can't complain.

Came out of the theater after the second showing and these guys were on the loose.  Didn't see anyone get arrested, so everything must've been alright.

The man of the hour... Anthony Mellick.  None of this would've happened without him.

Kansas meets Colorado

Greg Knight called me on Tuesday to say he was driving from Maine to make the premiere.  Apparently he only caught the last 10 minutes or so of the video, but he made it.  It was super rad to have people come from New Mexico, California, Maine, Kansas/Missouri, Arizona, New York, etc. to see the video!

Yeah

It's the first time I've gotten to skate in a week and a half (due to snow).  Denver Park was mostly wet, but we made do.  Good to get back on the board.

Then I went to The Shop. Paul and I watched Eastern Exposure 3.

We got new hoodies at The Shop.  Pretty cool!  We also got this same design as a shirt.

Then I went and booked the Mayan for the premier.  So psyched, it's officially going to happen!

Reality check.  I'm only done with 4 out of 5 classes, and of course the last class left is the most important one.  30 page paper on Woolf, due Monday.  Hopefully I'll get that Summa!

Weird Texts

I was supposed to meet Ryan at Northglenn park at 9:30.  I woke up to this text.

Then I skated Broomfield Park with Leonard, David, and Abdias.  Good session.

I came back from skating to this text.  It's true too, but you technically have to type "Denver juggalos".  The plural is essential.

I'm off to St. Louis in an hour.  Updates to come.
