Extraterrestrial

I met up with everyone at this school on Sunday, and Chris Sessions showed up.  Amazing guy, amazing photographer.  It was awesome to see him.
Darrell, Debow, and Matt were looking at footage while Brownlee was looking at me.
Debow giving me the thumbs up.
I shot a photo of Sessions while he wasn't paying attention.  He is the king of getting unsuspecting photos.  Check out his work here.  While I was looking through his site, I came upon this picture.  Wow, that really takes me back.

After an unsuccessful mission, we decided to take advantage of the Sabbath day by going downtown.
Noodles.
Cool spot.
Lenny busted an ollie.
We were hanging out on the corner, and some drunk Rockies' fans threw a Jell-O shot at us.  Lenny went for it.
Skyline session.
Lenny busted another ollie.
And then Whitney and I went to Mercury Cafe for the Sunday poetry slam, which was really awesome.  I'm going to make a good effort to go every Sunday night, so if you're interested in attending with me let me know.

Buckets Of Rain

I met up with an injured Justin Shardy to catch up over some coffee.
Rainy boredom usually takes me to The Shop.
The new Thrasher is insane.  Chris Pfanner turning pro is awesome as well!
Anti-Hero ads always kill it.

Whip My Hair

Mason and I met up with Brando and Justin at The Shop.
We rushed to Winona to get some skating in before it rained.
My new board went in the water, and I ripped a hole in my new jeans, but it was worth it.
We went to Cici's to get some pizza afterwords.
After eating I saw this license plate in the parking lot.  R.I.P. Dale #3.  NASCAR rulez!
It started raining so we checked out a thrift store.  Justin found this shirt which reminded me of my elementary school years.
The rain let up a bit, so we went to Denver Park and met up with Blue and his homies.
Blue's homies.
Mike got some moves on this thing.
And after that it was back to The Shop.
I didn't have anything to do after skating, so I woke Jesse up from a nap to hang out with me.  He loved it obviously.
We got some ice cream.
And then we listened to music on Jesse's computer.  Have you seen Neil Young's cover of this song?  So awesome!
Jesse went to bed, so I ate some pizza with Will and Tyler while watching Yogi Bear.  Awesome night.

Longest Day Ever

Here is the story of my longest day ever.  The night before this, I stayed out until 2:00 a.m. doing karaoke, believing I had the next day off.  I got a call at 4:30 a.m. informing me that I was supposed to be at work.  So after 2 hours of sleep, I went to work, which I was freed from at 2:00 p.m.  I should have gone home and taken a nap, but I said frick it, and went skating.

I met up with all these guys at this manual pad.
I had some carrots with me, and Justin fully claimed that he had never tried a carrot before.
He hated it and spit it out.  He doesn't eat vegetables at all.
After manualing, we headed to this huck-fest.
First time I skated with this new guy, Garret, who killed it.  Nice work Garret, keep it up!
Peanut gallery.
After jumping down the big 4 for far too long, we headed to another mellow spot, this 12 stair rail.  Brando and David were getting psyched.
In between filming Whitney practiced planking.  Be careful when you plank, it could kill you.
I was way too tired to skate the rail, so I set up a new whip.  I'm excited!
David was not too tired to skate the rail.  Warm up 50-50.
After skating we went and got pho.
By 10 o'clock, I definitely should have been sleeping, but I went to Denver Park to meet up with these guys.  The illusive three, Jeff Hackworth, Greg Knight, and Brian Zink.  Mason was present, but not pictured.
Greg Knight and Mason killing it!

Web Update

Denver Shop web update here.

It's The Freakin' Weekend

I got off work and met up with these clowns at some terrible Mexican restaurant on Alameda.
Chad had a hard time handling the heat of the green sauce.  O.G. Mudbone's brow was a sweatin'.
After that we headed to this big old set, which Will jumped down despite the very high velocity winds.  Terrible idea if you ask me.
After watching Will skate that set we moved onto a mellow rail a couple blocks away.  David, Ernie, and Roman had a fun time shooting some modeling photos.
Tyler was going for it on this thing.
David got this pretty rad line on the 5 stair rail, while Chad got some great background props.
J Greer and Steve with some classic poses.
After street skating, I moved on to some D Park skating.
I ran into these guys when I showed up.
After D Park, it was time for some karaoke.
We had quite a large crew this past Saturday.
David ordered some duck after I whooped him in pool.
Patrick up on stage killing it.
Jackie and Mason showed up.
Paul Gardner, releasing the stress of having his car stolen by singing the Guns and Roses version of "Knockin' On Heavens Door".
Darren got on stage to help him get through it.
I sung "Remix to Ignition" by R. Kelly, it was a dream come true.  After that I headed over to Joey's house because he graciously let me sleep in his bed while he's out of town.  I showed up at 2:00 a.m., and these guys were grilling.  Party animals.
Joey's domain.
Thanks to everyone for coming out to karaoke, and Joey for lending me your bed.  Hope to see everyone there next Saturday as well!
